1. What is a shutter motor?
An electric shutter motor (shutter operator) is installed inside the shutter tube and drives the steel shutter curtain up and down. A good shutter motor should offer: sufficient power, safety protection (overheating, anti-reverse), durability and reliability, and easy installation.
2. How do you determine the required horsepower?
The most important step is confirming the door size: door width (in traditional Taiwanese “tsai” units) and door height (in meters).
